Two former players confirm Wenger situation

Both Emmanuel Petit and Ian Wright have expressed their desire for Arsenal to consider ending Arsene Wenger’s reign at the club this summer.
Despite winning the FA Cup for two seasons in a row after nearly a decade without silverware, Arsenal are under more scrutiny than ever this year after being knocked out of all cup competitions before April while they sit 11 points adrift of the league leaders.
With several fans now admitting their frustration over the Gunners’ woes under Wenger, two of the clubs former players have joined the crowd.
Petit said: “I am pretty sure he has to stay at the club but maybe it’s time for him to open the door for something else as well. When I look at the former players from Arsenal, how many of them have their badges to manage a team?
“Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Patrick Vieira, many, many great players, they have their own statue in front of the stadium.
“I think Arsene… it’s good to share the place with someone else and try to open the door to the former players.
And elsewhere, Ian Wright has added: “I’m not sure if he still will be there after the summer – if they don’t win the league,”
“If they finish third or fourth again, I don’t know what will happen.
“Especially with how it is with Leicester and Tottenham above them and with Arsenal out of the Champions League and the FA Cup.
“The natives have turned now; more people want him out than want him in.”
But Wright said that Wenger should not shoulder all the blame.
“All I will say is change is coming, something’s got to happen,” he told BT Sports.
“[Stan] Kroenke is the one they should be putting more emphasis. Not just the boss.”

The board shd not let him sign any new player. Otherwise he will continue with his oudtaed
philosophy. He is always preparing for the future. Now reports link him with a wc striker.
Its toolate.He shd go asap.
The bigger question though is WHO do we replace him with? Klopp is gone. Who now, Simeone?
The thing is no manager is indispensable especially if you aint able to mount an epl challenge until end of season. That is especially the gunners who have choked at least 5 to 8 times by my reckoning. At any other club such a scenario wont be tolerated.
I just hope the fm knows time’s up and ride into the sunset.Arsenal could do worst than get Howe/Koeman.Pulis,etc. At least these guys can set up the team to defend unlike Wenger.Of course nothing is guaranteed. But still its a gamble worth taking. I think 99.9% of fans have no more faith in the fm.
Crap u will be crying when he goe s and not with tears of joy. Sick to death of fair weather so called gunner fans. Suck it in okay.
Stan and Wenge they are failure, a 30yrs coaching experience only stay 3 or 4 on the log if Stan nd wenger dnt resign death will do that for us and we will be free from this Lackaidasical attitude.
