TWO players could return for Arsenal tonight
Theo Walcott will be playing a football match for the first time in nine months today.
The Arsenal forward is set to feature for the club’s Under 21 side against Blackburn following his recovery from a knee ligament injury in January.
Walcott was stretched off in last season’s 2-0 FA Cup win over Tottenham and has missed almost a year of football action.
The 25-year-old returned to training with the Arsenal first team on Monday and Friday’s reserves fixture at Meadow Park is to improve his match fitness.
Theo is likely to be joined by another returning man Serge Gnabry in Friday’s outing after the German was sidelined through a knee problem as well.
However, the duo will not be available for tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Hull.
