BBC journalist David Ornstein has revealed the Gunners’ plans in the transfer market, heading into the final day of the summer transfer window.

Arsene Wenger has only managed to bring in two new players this summer, with Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette sealing their moves well before the new campaign kicked off.

However, a terrible start to the 2017/18 season has seen fans voice their frustration after witnessing Arsenal suffer two defeats in their opening three games.

The Gunners’ only transfer moves over the past two weeks have been about offloading players with the likes of Gabriel and Gibbs departing ahead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move to Liverpool.

Many were expecting Wenger to make at least one more signing before the window closes on Thursday but according to BBC’s Ornstein, the club is surprisingly unwilling to bring in any new additions.

Thus, Arsenal will end this summer having signed the fewest number of players out of the Premier League’s top six clubs.
