Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be hoping to have all of his key players available for the trip to Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday but there is still a doubt over the fitness of Mesut Ozil.

The Gunners extended their long unbeaten run in all competitions to 19 games on Sunday as they managed to stage a brilliant second half comeback to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 at the Emirates stadium.

One man who was not able to play a part is Mesut Ozil, a player who had previously been one of the regular players in the starting eleven until recently.

The 30-year-old was once again left out of the squad for Sunday’s game and ahead of the trip to Manchester United, there have been concerns over whether he will still be kept out of the team.

“I said on Sunday that he’s had backache since last Tuesday,” said Unai Emery.

“He couldn’t play in Kiev or on Sunday.

“At the moment, I don’t know if he can play in Manchester. Today he was working alone, I don’t know if he’s OK for Wednesday.”
