Wenger speaks on what needs to change at Arsenal
Arsene Wenger gave an intriguing response when asked about what needs to change at the club after Tuesday night’s horrible defeat.
Following the 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena three weeks ago, some fans expected Arsenal to salvage some pride in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie.
However, another collapse in the second half following the exit of Laurent Koscielny saw the Gunners suffer a real thrashing on their own turf.
Losing 10-2 on aggregate to the German side has prompted more protests from Arsenal fans about the state of the club.
However, Wenger, who has been linked with a departure this summer, is choosing to remain defiant on that subject.
“What needs to change at this club? What do you mean by that?” the Arsenal manager said
“I think this club is in great shape but we’re just going through a very difficult situation at the moment.
“What needs to change is the result in the next game.”
