‘We have to sell him’ – Some fans attack Arsenal star after Man City display

Some Arsenal fans took to social media to share their thoughts on one of the players who featured at the back in the defeat to Manchester City on Sunday night.

Arsenal started this season with a couple of defeats before bouncing back with a long unbeaten run which went on until December against Southampton.

Ever since that run ended though, the Gunners have been in worrying form, having dropped down to sixth place in the Premier League table.

Following a 2-1 win over Cardiff City in mid-week, Unai Emery’s men made a tough trip to Manchester City on Sunday.

Emery was forced to make changes to his back-line once again, due to recent injury blows which have significantly reduced the number of players available for selection.

Shkodran Mustafi was handed a start on Sunday with Sokratis now sidelined until the end of February.

Mustafi is a player who has been criticised in the past for his poor performances and after watching him play at the Etihad stadium, he was bashed again by some fans on social media…

Shkdoran Mustafi is a lost cause. The only Arsenal get anything close to the £35M they paid for him is if an offer comes from China.
