Wenger confirms good news for Arsenal ahead of Liverpool clash

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that a couple of his key players are now back in action ahead of this weekend’s clash with Liverpool.
The Arsenal manager witnessed his side begin the campaign with a victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield and a dramatic comeback win against Leicester City on the opening day of the Premier League season.
However, Arsenal’s familiar woes returned last weekend as a goal from Jese Rodriguez saw them suffer a 1-0 defeat at Stoke City.
Two key players who were not involved in that match at the Bet365 stadium were Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez.
But Wenger has revealed the duo are now available again ahead of the clash with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
“The early team news is that Koscielny is back available for selection and Alexis has worked very hard to be back again and he is available as well.” the Arsenal manager said
The Gunners were beaten 3-1 in this fixture last season after a slow start which saw them concede two goals in the first half.
Following Nacho Monreal’s sub-par performance at the heart of the defence against Stoke City, Laurent Koscielny could be back in the starting line-up straight away.
