Arsene Wenger has revealed the latest regarding the fitness of key midfielder Aaron Ramsey ahead of the clash with Manchester City in the final of the Carabao Cup on Sunday.

The Gunners are now gearing up for a major showdown against Pep Guardiola’s side in the League Cup final this weekend.

Arsenal have been troubled by frequent injuries to key players over the past decade and this season has been no different.

Aaron Ramsey, who managed to score a hat-trick against Everton in the Premier League at the beginning of this month, has been sidelined by injury in recent weeks.

And ahead of Sunday’s cup final at Wembley, there have been more doubts about the fitness of Ramsey.

However, Arsene Wenger has now revealed that the midfielder is in good condition, increasing hopes that he will be able to make a start against Manchester City.

“Some players were rested, they are alright. After that, I have to make a decision on Aaron Ramsey on Saturday.” the Gunners manager said

“He looks OK, but we will know more about it tomorrow.”
