Arsene Wenger has confirmed Tomas Rosicky is in the final stages of his recovery and could return to action by mid-January.

The Czech international has now missed over half a year of football after suffering a knee injury while on duty with his country during the start of the summer. According to Wenger, the 35-year-old could finally make his first appearance of the season next month.

“In three weeks he [Rosicky] could be back in full training.” the Arsenal boss said
