The Arsenal manager has offered an update on the status of his squad heading into Sunday’s fixture in the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger’s side will be hoping to return to winning ways this weekend after recording three straight draws against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
But with at least five first team players – Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Chuba Akpom, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck – currently sidelined, the Gunners faithful have remained concerned about who is fit for the upcoming matches.
According to Wenger, the good news is that all of the players who were named in the squad for Wednesday’s Champions League affair are fit for Sunday’s fixture.
That means Aaron Ramsey, who reportedly needed pain pills to shrug off a toe problem to play against PSG, will be available for selection once again.
“I don’t think from the other night we have any injuries, so everybody should be available.” Wenger said on Friday
“In cases like Cazorla and Bellerin, they are still out. We have nobody coming back.”
The clash with Eddie Howe’s side will be Arsenal’s first league game at home since the north London derby at the beginning of this month.
