Arsene Wenger has revealed that only one player is guaranteed to not keep his place in the starting line-up when the Gunners visit Manchester City on Sunday.
After conceding the Premier League title to newly crowned champions Leicester City, Arsenal only have two more games left to see out a frustrating season.
Wenger’s men head into Sunday’s showdown in need of a positive result in order to retain a spot in the top three and avoid facing a tricky Champions League qualifier in August.
The Gunners have been troubled by injuries this year but with Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky back in action, Per Mertesacker is the only man sidelined by injury this weekend.
“From the squad that played against Norwich last Saturday, we have lost Per Mertesacker.” Wenger said
“Per is out for the remaining two matches with a hamstring injury. Everyone else from last week’s squad is fit and available for selection.”
