Arsene Wenger has revealed which player is likely to be withdrawn from the starting eleven for this weekend’s Premier League affair.

Arsenal are preparing to welcome Middlesborough to the Emirates stadium in a league clash for the first time since 2009 following the away side’s seven-year absence from the top flight.

The Gunners have little to worry about at the moment following an impressive run of six consecutive victories in the Premier League.

However, injuries have usually been a problem for Arsenal in recent seasons and Wenger has admitted that may be his only concern heading into the clash with Boro.

According to the Arsenal boss, his midfield may look different on Saturday unless Santi Cazorla overcomes an injury he sustained against Ludogorets.

“Well, from Wednesday night it looks like we have no big problems. The only uncertainty I have is Santi Cazorla, who got a kick.” Wenger said

“We’ll see how he is today but we have nobody coming back. Of course we lose Xhaka because he’s suspended and everybody else should be available.”

Should Cazorla fail his fitness test, Mohamed Elneny is likely to step in as a replacement for the Spaniard.
