Arsene Wenger has given a hint about his starting line-up for the FA Cup clash with Sutton United on Monday.
The Gunners are preparing for a visit to the non-league side after being thrashed 5-1 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Wenger is now aware that the FA Cup might be his side’s best chance of securing silverware for the first time since 2015 with their hopes of winning the Premier League and Champions League left in tatters.
According to the Arsenal boss, some of his promising young players will be handed a chance to impress against Sutton.
“A normal team… I gave [some youngsters] a chance [at Southampton] because I think they deserved to play and have a good opportunity to come in for players who usually play, and I think they have done well” Wenger said on Friday
“One or two might have another chance to say that they can play in every single game now.”
