The Arsenal manager has spoken on reports suggesting that star forward Alexis Sanchez threw a tantrum in the dressing room after Wednesday’s Champions League match.
Arsene Wenger’s side is going through a mid-season crisis after falling well behind the Premier League leaders due to defeats against Watford and Chelsea.
They are also in worse shape in the Champions League where Bayern Munich have taken a commanding 5-1 lead on aggregate in the round of 16 tie.
As a result, reports after Wednesday’s trip to Allianz Arena suggested that Alexis Sanchez, who scored Arsenal’s only goal on the night, had an argument with his teammates in the dressing room following the final whistle.
However, the Gunners boss claims no such thing happened even though the Chile international has shown his frustration on the pitch in the past against Bournemouth and Swansea City.
“A row? No. Not at all.” the Arsenal manager said at Friday’s press-conference
“Everybody was disappointed and affected but there was nothing other than a huge sadness and disappointment.”
“We were in an ideal position at half-time at 1-1.
“After that, it all went wrong for us.
“We looked defensively solid and lost [Laurent] Koscielny and after that, we lost our structure and organisation.
