Summer signing Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been formally included in Arsene Wenger’s first team squad for this season.

Reine-Adelaide has been in promising form during his first few weeks at Arsenal – particularly in the Emirates Cup – after joining the club along with Yassin Fortune from the Lens academy in May.

The youngster is one of several bright prospects at the club

While several of his colleagues from Arsenal’s youth ranks have been sent out on loan this summer, the 17-year-old has reportedly been assured of a supporting role in the senior squad this season.

Reine-Adelaide was called upon for the Arsenal first team photo this week as Wenger’s men were grouped together for a picture with their recent honours, the FA Cup and Community Shield.

The club has now opted against making the teenager, who will wear the no. 54 shirt this season, available for loan.
