Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has urged Arsene Wenger to make more new signings before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners have so far managed to secure the services of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
But with the transfer window still open, many have called for Wenger to pursue more new additions to improve his squad.
And according to Seaman, bringing in new faces like Thomas Lemar would be a much-needed boost for his old club.
“I’ve no idea who is coming in. There’s so much speculation it’s so hard to keep up with it,” the former goalkeeper said
“But if they can add players like [Thomas Lemar], great.
“Hopefully they will do more business. Hopefully they can get one or two because it’ll be a boost for the squad as well.”
Seaman did heap praise on the Gunners’ new goalscorer after opening his account in the Premier League against Leicester City.
“In Alexandre Lacazette they’ve got a guy who looks like a great signing. He’s a box player and his goalscoring record speaks for itself.” he added
“He’s a guy who takes half chances when he’s in the right place at the right time – and hopefully he can carry that on.”
