Arsene Wenegr has heaped more praise on Lucas Perez, a few days after his memorable hat-trick in the Champions League.

The Spaniard has failed to feature regularly for Arsenal this season largely because of the superb form of Alexis Sanchez.

However, when handed a rare opportunity on last Tuesday as the Gunners traveled to Basel, Perez took it gracefully by scoring three goals on the night.

That performance has strengthened the forward’s petition to get more playing time as speculation continue to link him with a loan exit in the next transfer window.

But Wenger insists he has already noticed the 28-year-old summer signing will be of good use to his squad.

“I believe he’s a guy who has all the qualities you want – he is quick, has good stamina, high energy and is a very good finisher.”  the Arsenal boss was quoted as saying in this weekend’s

“He has it all in his locker. In front of goal he is a killer, he has a short back-lift and is a good finisher. You could see that with the third goal in midweek.
