As rumours link Arsenal with a move for another left-back, Kieran Tierney has taken to social media to let the fans know that he is definitely on his way back to action after being sidelined by an injury.

The Gunners moved to sign Tierney last summer, since the departure of veteran defender Nacho Monreal had already been planned to happen later in the transfer window.

Despite arriving from Celtic with a very promising reputation, injuries have denied Tierney the chance to consistently impress the Arsenal faithful in his debut season.

So far this week, there have been growing rumours about the Gunners’ pursuit of Layvin Kurzawa, with journalist David Ornstein already reporting that the club is in talks to sign the Paris Saint-Germain star.

The arrival of the 27-year-old would certainly be a threat to the future of Tierney, who has already been struggling to cement a spot in the starting eleven.

Thus, the young full-back, who returned to light training on Friday, has taken to Twitter to let the fans know that he is still in contention and on the way back after making a quick recovery from his shoulder surgery.
