‘Flamini should never play ahead of him’ – Twitter reacts to Gunner’s display vs Watford

Following the 4-0 victory over Watford, some Arsenal fans have come to the conclusion that the strongest possible line-up for Arsene Wenger is the one he named on Saturday.
Mohamed Elneny was the Gunners’ only signing from the January transfer window yet he was kept behind Mathieu Flamini until recently.
After finally being handed more regular playing time last month, the Egyptian appears to have embraced his new role as partner to Francis Coquelin in midfield.
The 23-year-old followed up his performance in the 2-0 victory over Everton with another assured display against Watford this weekend after returning from international duty.
According to some Gooners, the Premier League title race would have looked much better for Arsenal if Elneny had featured more regularly.
So good having a reliable player in MF that keeps it simple & doesn't leave us exposed. No coincidence Coquelin much improved. #Elneny

If Wenger used Elneny back then we would've still been contending for the league, wtf was he thinking

Elneny should've been in the side from the day he signed

Impressed with Elneny again.Seems to be what Wenger hoped Denilson would develop into ie keep game ticking with quick, simple, accurate passes

It's brilliant that when Juve are turning down 95million bids for Pogba, we're signing Elneny for 10% of that. In the most secret of manners

I think what changed in Arsenal game was the replacement of Giroud, Walcott Ramsey with Welbeck, Iwobi and Elneny respectively

Have we found the new Viera/Petit pairing in Coq/Elneny? They look incredibly solid with a great understanding of each other.
