Manchester United are dealing with several injury problems ahead of the clash with Arsenal on November 19.

The Red Devils managed to secure a first Premier League victory in four games last Sunday by beating Swansea City 3-1 at the Liberty stadium.

Arsenal on the other hand, had a more disappointing result, dropping points in a 1-1 draw with fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United may be back in form but it could require quite an effort to continue that against the Gunners following the news that another player is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Marouane Fellaini, who has played a regular role in Jose Mourinho’s team this season, is now a doubt for the match at Old Trafford after picking up an injury from international duty with Belgium.

And even though United have denied reports that Chris Smalling will be out for several weeks as reported yesterday, the Englishman is unlikely to be fit to face Arsenal.

“We don’t comment on rumours or speculation but I can say that the story in the (Daily) Mail [about Smalling being out for a month] isn’t true,” a club representative said to Reuters.

Antonio Valencia (arm) and Eric Bailly (knee) are ruled out of the upcoming fixture, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who received another booking on Sunday, will be serving a one-match ban.
