‘Worst player in Arsenal history’ – Fans attack Arsenal star on Twitter after Cologne game
Several Arsenal fans have voiced their frustration on Twitter following the defeat to FC Cologne on Thursday.
The Gunners managed to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
However, their below-par form in the Europa League continued as they succumbed to a 1-0 loss away to Cologne on Thursday night.
The trip to Germany saw Mohamed Elneny receive a rare opportunity to impress after being handed a place in the starting eleven.
But the Egyptian midfielder’s performance did not impress the traveling fans as the Gunners lost the game through a penalty in the second half.
And here were a few tweets about Elneny’s display….

I hope we sell Elneny in January and give his position to Willock.
I like Elneny but he offers nothing apart from so called ‘solidarity.’
