Arsenal will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Crystal Palace at the Emirates stadium on Sunday.

Due to the fact that top four race rivals Chelsea and Leicester City had won their games over the weekend, the Gunners had no room for error heading into the clash with Sheffield United on Monday.

Once again, a defensive lapse – this time from a corner kick – saw Arsenal concede a goal in the first half which turned out to be the match winner.

Even though Unai Emery’s men managed to bounce back with a 3-2 win in the Europa League on Thursday, Arsenal know they will have a point or two to prove to critics on Sunday.

It appears as though the dramatic win over Vitoria pappered over some cracks at the club which will have to be resolved in order for any sort of success to be achieved this term.

Thus, Emery should not be afraid to drop certain players if necessary.

PREDICTED LINE-UP

Mustafi – Holding – Chambers – Kolasinac

Torreira – Guendouzi – Ceballos
